Weirdsville picspam. Get your hands on a copy. It's actually a really funny movie. And Speedy! And Wes Bentley. And the colors in this movie are so pretty although mainly consisting blues and yellows. I may do a compare/contrast...when I don't have things to study for.

Was the instant and massive popularity of “The O.C.” overwhelming at the time?

Yeah! I was younger than all the other kids, and it was just me and two boys in the beginning. Rachel Bilson came in eventually, but in the very beginning of that show it was just me and the two boys who were season regulars. It was really overwhelming to have all that press on me. But this time I’m sharing it with people, and it’s much more laid back. And I’m filming in New York, which is also very laid back. It’s just an easy experience.

Mischa, you crack me up with this sudden wave of nostalgia! Thanks for mentioning Ben and Adam as "boys" btw.

Also, Jesse Bradford is not who I would've picked for Sling Blade but I don't wanna judge until I see it because I know he can do deadpan very well but appearance-wise...?

I watched the special features for the 4th season of NCIS and damn it, these two. Fake kissing and dessert sharing and mentions of ~secret~ time together (apparently Michael cries during certain episodes of their show and Cote is right there...) so I decided to cap it.

Early in the summer, Entertainment Weekly came out with this list of "25 Unforgettable One-Hit Wonders" and I bookmarked it because I love one-hit wonders. Turns out I had more than half of these songs....so I REALLY love one-hit wonders. I think they're seriously lacking some songs, like how is Emon's "Fuck You (I Don't Want You Back)" more unforgettable than Fountains of Wayne's "Stacy's Mom"? No. But here are the songs they had listed anyway, complete with some very lovely ~art~ I made to resemble the 90s.
